Well first off I highly recommend buying bear claw latches, don not rely on ur factory latches to be strong enough, alot of extra stress is added to them. add extra plate to the front and rear of the doors as well as the cowl where u remount the door striker and the B pillar where the hinges will be.
Beyond that take ur time and make sure everything works right before u final weld anything. Suicide doors aren't hardest mod in the world but yet definately not a cake walk either. Good luck

suicide door info wanted

did you do the suicide doors?
my wife has trouble getting in and out of the 95 xlt due to a bad hip. I think suicide doors, or door, may be a better option than buying a different truck.
I have a parts truck, 96, that I can set everything up on, practice as it were. looking for input from anyone who has actually tried this and which hinge kits are worth the money.
