sub box dimensions

Thanks man. I can give you dimension on my box for two 10s or I can give you dimensions for one 10. Without mounting amps to the front of the box there is none to very little seat movement loss. If you gone with only one sub then you can mount your amp on either side of the box and you will hve no seat movement loss. The only problem is that the depth of the box that I built wiht about 4.5" so you will have to get a smaller sub than the v3.

I have a 96 ranger standard cab with 2 12 in pioneer flat pistons and with boxes that are just narrow enough to fit the subs I have to have the seat all the way forward. They still barely fit. If your short and can fit it is good.

you might consider looking at other subs. 8s can pound with the right one in a tuned box. check out the addictive audio excruci8,soundsplinter RL-i8, and the digital designs audio 1508. they all run about 500w RMS and the digital designs will run 1800w max, they all hit low and hard.

would it be possible to build a box for a 13.5 jl tw5 that would fit behind the afforementioned seat and cab
