Maybe im wrong but i kinda feel the heavy wrecker guys are a class above your common everyday hook n' books.

Trying to fish a semi with a tanker loaded with hazmat out of a ravine is alot different then winching a malibu out of a drainage ditch.

I agree with that. But you still have the good ones and the bad ones. Even for the guy with a 1-ton based wrecker pulling hhrs out of fields, there is good workmanship and bad workmanship. The good involves minimizing secondary damage and cleaning up afterwards.

No i agree. I just feel like theres less "eh screw it" type people in the heavy side.

In PA it's not the job of the wrecker driver, it's supposed to be done by the hazmat crew.

Dude... it’s an air brake truck that we tow other air brake trucks with. We don’t need some fancy thing to activate the brakes on the towed vehicle. We need 2 air lines.
