Stuck drive shaft / yoke bolt

I have the Ranger up on blocks, battery is off, starter is out. Next was the front shaft. 3 8mm 12 points came out with no trouble The 4th is still in, all chewed up. I dont have a welder, so I can't weld a nut onto it. No purchase for vise grips. I'm am patient, I'm used to this stuff. But, I'm getting nowhere. My question is. Can I remove the 1354 electric T case with the front shaft still attached? I have to take out the rear shaft to replace the back U joint so that will make some room. If not, I have a plan B, which involves a hack saw and a dremel.

T-case can come out with the front shaft attached. I've had to do it myself before.
