Hello Everyone,

My name is Roger and I am having a very wierd issue. First off I own a 89 Bronco II 4x4 with a 5spd. The truck was initially in good working order until I left the lights on one night after coming home from work. I awoke in the morning with no power so I had a guy driving by give me a jump. After that the truck will not start. To help with my explanation, this is a list of parts I replaced afterwards:

-Distributor
-Coil
-TFI
-ECU and Fuel Relays
-In-tank Fuel Pump and Sender
-Ignition Switch
-Starter Solenoid

I am getting power to the coil but no spark at all. Also the fuel pump does not shut off while the key is in the on position. The ECU ground near the battery is good as well as the battery cables. I checked all of the fuses in the power distribution box and both ALT. PWR fuses were blown so I replaced them. That is all the info that I have at the moment because I don't have much time during the week to do anything. My buddy will be coming up to help in a few days but I wanted to ask here first to see what you guys would say about it.

Thanks,
Roger

so it is cranking but will not fire? sounds like the ignition module (the small gray box thing on the back of the distributor)

was the truck successfully jump started after the dead battery?? my first guess is that he hooked up the jumper cables backwards.

It does crank without firing but, I replaced the distributor and the TFI module that goes behind it.

Now about the jump, it ran perfectly fine before then it wouldn't start which leads me to believe that he did cross the wires.
