STOTM curse?

Not sure what the weather was doing up north but down here it was foggy and in the 20s last night/this morning, definitely some slick spots on the way to work. At least it's just body damage.

just cut the roof of in the middle of the pillars and weld on a new one, thats what id do. hell, id buy the old cab of ya if you were closer for my slant6 ranger project.. most those panel dents look like they would pull out fairly easly, from the way it looks, id say you would need these parts to get it on the road
1xroof, welded to the old cab at the middle of the pillars
1xwindshield
1xset of windshield trim
a stud gun and a slide hammer
a can of body filler
some primer and paint.

i could do that, but i want to start fresh...fresh wiring, go threw the engine, just an unmolested 80s ranger and put everything from this one into it.

Keep an eye out for a clean gen 1. Nothing beats gen 1 lol! This is sad... Your truck was pristine and a prime example of the beauty a gen 1 could show... Glad your ok though

Nothing convertible conversion and windshield wouldn't fix. Of cours that would be a nice drivetrain my 86, either that or jack the roof out put a piece of plexi in the front, crank the boost 40 psi and have fun at the strip .

I'd rip out the drivetrain and put that in a different truck. Pull what you need off of yours and put it on your new truck.

id actually buy a body/frame like that for around 400$ if it was local. gen1s are not too hard to find on the road, but its danm near imposible to find someone willing to sell theres.

seems like the area on my truck that hit a tree is unafected on your truck. if your gona scrap it, think youd be intrested in selling me a cab corner? it hurts seeing another gen1 takin off the road.
