stop the beeping!!!!

i did just get it. it has been painted more than once. the front clip has a newer paint job on it, the front clear coat dont match the rest of the truck.

I don't know anything about this thing in the dash you all are talking about, but if it was in a wreck and the airbags deployed, the computer that regulates the bags has to be replaced along with the bags. If it is not replaced, you should have the aforementioned airbag light on. Now, if it makes any kind of chime, I don't know. With my radio idea, is that the same beeping that you are hearing? You may just need a different radio, like there's something wrong in it, making it beep.

and no air bag light? bad. did you get it from a used car lot, or a person? i think that is against the law.... at least in NY.

well i cked it. there is no airbag light that come on when i start it up. i think im going to pull the air bag on the wheel to see if it is one or if its just a cover.

try disconnecting your airbag module my 95 did that and t fixed it.

well i found were the beeping is coming from. i found somkind of control behind the pass. kick panel. it was blue. it had two plugs going to it. one gray and one black. discon. the black one and it stoped beeping but i would like to fig out what that box it is and what it does. even more so if i just unplugged my airbag mod.!!!!

:worthless:

Because two of the 50V fuses under the hood blew, and now my airbag light is not working after I replaced them. =/

What do you think this could be?

yor beeping noise is the air bag, i bet you will find out that the air bag light is blown out and that's why the beeping is happening. must be something wrong with the air bag, probably broken clock spring. i have a 2000 taurus that does the same thing. you will get used to it after awhile, just turn the radio up and it won't bother you as bad or else replace air bag light bulb, then the light will stay on but the beeping goes away
