stock xcase or bw1356

i was wondering if you can you use a stock ranger transfer case on an aod or the 5 speed or should i just use the bw1356 transfercase but will it fit with out ruining the frame thanks in advance.

unless you get the advance adapters kit, the stock ranger case will not bolt up to the V8 transmissions, auto or manual. If you want to run a 1356, I'd run a clocking ring so it dont hit the frame, providing you have the lift to clear it. Your other options is to run the V8 explorer AWD case, downside is you have no low range, or you can run a dana 20 from an EB

that other 1356 you mentioned what wouldi be able to get it from its hard to find dana 20s around me

any late 80's to mid to late 90's F series fullsize...F150's had the slip yoke tcase, Bronco's had the flange...
