does the stock sway bar do anything for on-road handling?? i have a full size bronco too and removing it made no difference at all...however it doesnt see pavement unless its covered in snow so it wouldnt matter anyways but my ranger is a daily driver(when running) and i dont want to really sacrifice handling.

thanks,
Josh

it does do some, but unless your driving it like a car, your not going to notice a huge difference.

Are we talking front or rear? The rear doesn't do anything, the front you will notice but a lot of guys ditch it anyway and just drive accordingly.

I'd like to agree with the previous statement because theoretically it makes sense, but when I had my front disconnected when I did my lift there didn't seem to be much difference compared to when it was connected. I disconnected the rear when I installed another AAl, it seemed to unload the rear end and cause major body roll at the slightest turn...?

I took my front sway bar off and didnt even notice it was gone untill I was driving at 65mph on the highway. At that speed it felt like the front end was a little loose but it wasnt anything significant. If you wanna loose a little front end weight and have some more flex if you go offroading once and a while then I would take the bar off.

thanks that is what i wanted to know...as long as it didnt make it undriveable i wanted to remove it.thanks for the replies.

Josh

not undriveable at all. just get use to it before you go hang it in to your fav. corner. it dose create alittle extra body roll, but IMO makes the truck more predictable once you get use to it.
