stock leafs???

the leafs in my ranger are SHOT. I called the local ford dealer and they told me that those leafs are obsolete, does anyone know where I can get a set of factory replacement leafs or maybe some kinda of performance ones, I don't have any lift and would like to keep it that way, its a '97 2WD reg cab short box, if that helps, thanks

Check your local wrecking yard. Should be about $50 a pair.

anything as far as new though, I don't know what kind of shape some in a junkyard would be in

Check Summit. I know they have lift leafs, they may have stock as well. Prepare to pay though.

thanks, its worth it, this thing rides like a ton of bricks, new shocks helped a little but I need to rectify the situation

You should be able to find some sort of spring specialist around you. Look in the yellow pages. They can usually make custom leafs.

i just checked jcwhitley, it shows they have them for a 1997 ford ranger, one was $119.00, dont remember the other one. but you can check it out.

arent all rear leaves from any ranger pretty much interchangable?
