Stereo Replacement

I've got a 2001 Ranger XLT, the stereo that came with it just crapped out. I'm not young enough to want a new unit to blast me out of the cab, all I want is a unit similiar to the original, stereo w/in-dash 6DVD changer. My problem is I can't find an after-market unit with the in-dash DVD feature, I've checked Crutchfield, Best But & Circuit City with no-luck. If I didn't hate dealing with my (2) local (both owned by same people) stealerships so much I'd just replace it with another Ford unit. Any ideas ??

You mean 6 CD?

Look on eBay. You can find OEM CD6 head units for the same price as an aftermarket one. F-150 and Explorer single CD head units with RDS also work.

You will need a 98-up Ranger or Explorer head unit, or a 99-03 F-Series one. Some premium models won't work (like JBL). If in doubt, just post a link to the auction.
