My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I still have the double din stereo head unit and 6-CD changer from my 97F150. Just pay shipping from zip code 29385. I gave the wiring diagrams away with the truck. But you could find that info. I originally took it out so I could put in a display unit for navigation. Worked when removed. I left enough wires to solder to on the plug at the CD changer. Should work in a wide variety of Ford trucks from that era.

Tks for your answer.
What do you want to do with the radio and CD Changer ?
I am interested, because I have one Ranger 1997 and it fits perfectly.

If you want it, you can have it. Just pay shipping cost. I accept (prefer) PayPal. Or personal check. I'll box it up and get a shipping cost. I'll need your name and shipping address.

I wouldn't suggest you post your personal info like that. I edited it out.

Just send him a private message...

Thanks, Gump. I should have recommended that in my reply.

Does this sound fishy to anybody else?

It shouldn't. Turns out that the gentleman is not native to the US and is not extremely tech savvy with forums/Facebook, etc. He sent payment via PayPal and I shipped out the stereo and CD changer. He even sent a few extra bucks above shipping cost. His truck looks really nice. I'll cross-link the photo he sent in pm.

Glad to hear it worked out. Just some of those posts seemed kinda odd.
