Steering column removal

So, with the assistance of several members here, we think we have narrowed the steering problem in my Explorer to the steering column. Next step: removal. I have never taken a steering column out before. Anyone here taken one out? Tips/steps would help thanks.

1 tip go to a part store and buy a haynes manual thats how i did mine they really help

ANYONE here have a used 5 speed steering column for sale for my 91 Ex?????!!!!! I need one asap! I have a dark grey steering wheel as well.
