Stacks? What do you think

not a fan of stacks, even on a 3/4 ton diesel pickup. ive often thought it would be something to run exhaust or engine coolant through my tube steps to keep the ice and snow melted away in the winter though. and in the summer it would keep the barefoot kids off that always want to step up and look in the cab.

Gotta love a supercharger though!

Stacks are kind of ghey, but a buddy of mine had a candy apple red 30's something truck that had running boards and chrome side pipes setup as stacks and that thing was freaking awesome.

I vote turbo... which technically is a form of a supercharger.

Superchargers are locked to the engine RPM, a turbo coasts back down after a rev like this one.

The whistle sounds just like dad's 4020, maybe a little louder.

DO IT!!!! i just posted a thing about stacks because some reason i didnt see this thread. but to every redneck out there like me stacks are amazing!!!! i used to drive a toyota with dual stacks cab lights and marker lights on every inch of my flatbed and bumper! i used it to haul logs out of the woods yes i said haul loggs! it was a mini log truck! i plan on doing the same with my ranger! so yes stacks are a must!!!! thank god for rednecks!!! god bless us all!

this is really the one ranger i like with stacks. if you scroll down a bit you can see more pictures. it is however a diesel so this still doesnt solve the fight of stacks with a gas motor
