Stack exhaust.

To the ones that disapprove,
The last time I went accross the river I had stopped for a pic and my exhaust was back flowing, thus shattering the catalyst in the rear most cat. also I agree about about the flexable pipe, but its required to keep the engine vibes from rattling the bed and also when I flex the frame.

Its there for its function not so much for style or exhaust note.

To everyone else,
thank you, I'm glad not everyone thinks im a fool for doing it. :headbang:

PS it sounds like a standard exhaust with a gibson muffler...

But you have to admit it is one of the better looking stacks someone has put on a ranger...

I still don't like them but at least it was done for function. I can respect that.

looks awesome buddy! and the flex pipe comes with every stack kit factory even on the diesels.

oh definately. i just dont like stacks in general, its not just on this truck.

but hey, if you want stacks on your truck/lawnmower/ice auger then go for it!

You might get a little beat up on this one, stacks arent very popular around here.

:c-n:

I'm glad i was wrong and your not getting bashed for this!

funniest ones are the guys who run stack-ish pipes on their modded autocross cars to direct the sound away from the sound meter so they don't get DSQ'd

It is a neat idea to save bedspace, but being mounted more inboard and not quite as tall would make it more protected from trees.

There is always a + and - for everything though. :dntknw:

The height is the same as my snorkle, if I put it more inboard it would hit the roof lights when thier flipped back. Also it is 1/8" wall 3" dom tubbing, I really cant hurt it...

Does anyone know why semi trucks have stacks??????

They moved the exhaust up to keep the gasses from the live stock, (now days its to keep the trailer clean, no real function just looks).
You can dislike it all you want but when your stuck in deep water, you will see my stack pulling you out,:idiot:

Sorry I like to poke fun too...
