I have a 2000 4.0 v6 4x4 ranger and I just changed my front wheel bearings about a week ago and ever since my brakes have made a small squeak every time I let off the brake petal. maybe just be the piston in the caliper needs to be lubricated?

thankyou

do you have rear drum brakes. If you do then you prob need to clean the contact points that the pads hit on the back plate.

nope.....the caliper piston is lubed by the brake fluid inside the caliper....

the brake pad BRACKETS (not the pad surface) might need some lubricant on them where they slide on the caliper metal housing.....

or......

the bushing on your brake PEDAL might need some lubricant!
