Leaving today to drive to Missouri for spring goose hunting. At last count they say there are 1.4 million snows in the area. Man do I have an itchy trigger finger.

Sweet!

I just sold my 10gauge Bolt Action...damn. No gooses this year.

Nice! Have fun! That'd be killer. Let us know how you do.

I didn't bag a goose this year...then again I didn't really have an opportunity to. We had a very warm winter except for two weeks in December. Opening day morning, about TWO minutes (literally) before shooting time, my buddy and I were sitting there and thought we might as well throw some shells in just in case..sure as shit, right when we stood up, a flock of about 10 geese, no more than ten feet off the water, came right at our blind and flew right over the damn thing. Boy were we pissed. That was the only opportunity all year.

I just put on an exteded magazine. I now hold 10 3 1/2 shells. I want just one flock of 40k snows to come in. I want to see if I can melt the barrel.

Just got back. Around 100 birds in three days. What a blast (pun intended).

You don't have to put a plug in your shotguns? In CT. we can only have three rounds. I had a friend get pinched this year for using lead shot!

My favorite goose hunting spot on an old corn field is now a sub development!

Happy Hunting...but try not to shoot Martha...she is my favourite...and I think she said she was heading to Missouri for the winter...you will be able to tell her from the others easily because she is wearing a red rose pattern hat with a green scarf...

Any of you guys duck hunt?

Too much haha. I skipped way too many classes this last semester to go hunt. Too bad they always end our season right in the middle of the best weather..it's a pretty dumb schedule. I don't know what else you guys get for waterfowl seasons, but ours is typically October (when it's still way too warm, no birds in the area) to January (we don't warm up til after February/March, tons of birds in the area).

Sorry, she didn't make it.
Just wondering if you'd like me to send the hat back to you?
