Spray Bed Liners

Subscribed. I need to do something like this to my ranger.

i am having mine sprayed in the spring , i have a 2000 with the flareside box , it is gonna cost me $350 , but first i have to fix the holes in my bed , this is actually cheap from this guy , he is normally expensive because he sprays it on an 1/8 inch thick or so , and he guarantees it will never tear , we had it done to our brush truck and even when we throw a trash pump in there the liner takes it , he is doing it cheap because he is my stepdads nephew and a fellow firefighter

I have sprayed up to 1/4 inch thick upon request but usually I spray between 1/8 to 3/16 and it usually takes about 6 gallons for a 6 ft bed, I give a lifetime warrenty against anything, you can tear it up with a grinder and i'll fix it. the cost can be between $450 and $650 CDN depending on the size of the truck, under rail, over rail ... but alot of people dont realize that a 1/4 thick wont protect your bed any better than 1/8 thick and some shops will only spray 1/16 thick and spray extra coats around the edges to give it a thicker apperance and the average person would never know the difference so be aware and pay close attention to the edges to make sure you get what you pay for

well i know that i will get what i pay for , i have seen him work , he usually does over the rail , he actually has contracts with the county we live in to do highway trucks and sherrifs trucks , he is a firefighter and a county sherrif and he does this , when he does a bed he does it good and he does it right

and the 1/8 isnt upon request , that is what he does on all the bed he sprays , he can do thicker if requested , i think he sprayed our brush truck either a 1/4 or 3/8 thick

My truck was done with the U-Pol Raptor Liner kit. I sanded it down a little then sprayed IIRC 5 coats. Looks great, cleans real easy, and has been holding up great. Except where I drug my rocker across some rocks, but that would happen to any type of liner. I have it sprayed all around my truck, and on my hood, roof, and mirrors. I couldn't be happier with it. The trick is just good prep work. Also mask off everything, It was a PITA getting the overspray off of my Alcoas.

well , he has been kind of busy , and i have a couple holes in the bed floor i have to patch first , which involves me getting a welder first , i can weld and i have a helmet and some sheet metal , but i am waiting for my stepdad to buy a welder for our shop

About a year ago, I did the floor of my E250 van with a DIY roll on bedliner.
I really spent lots of time prepping it first. Then I put on three coats.

It held up real well, but for all the time involved, I might just go with a local company to spray the bed of my Ranger.

i just had mine done today with linex. over the rail- $520 price included tax. pretty pricey, but it looks great. had it done on my 04 as well, and it looked almost like new when i traded it in. got the black color. they offer a body color, but its $250 more. yikes.

I have seen Linex and it looked real good.

I just got a quote from a local guy for almost that much, and it is for a "no name" franchise....
