Spindle nut socket


I've found that the one in the picture works mediocre as well. Really the only remedy is to push the socket onto the nut harder as you're torquing. It would have been smart for them to design the tool in such a way that the outer edge would slide over the locknut a bit.

For the other Canadians reading this, if you're looking for a cheap set, check out your local Princess Auto. I bought a set of 6 of these "spindle locknut removal tools" that included tools for the D35, my D60, 14 bolt, and 3 others that I have no idea what they're for. Good deal for ~$50 for the kit, and they're nice to have around just in case.
