Speakers and radio

I have a 1994 Ranger and want to know what speakers you guys have put in I don’t think mine have ever been replaced so I’m going to replace them but want to know a good brand also the radio has been replaced so it has a aux well I bought a aux cord for my phone used it for 3 days and the aux function broke I guess so now I’m gona have to replace the radio I hope they used the kit that makes it too were they didn’t splice and cut wires otherwise I’m gonna have a fun time with that but if anybody has any recommendations for speakers and radios or a bundle kit let me know thanks

If you do not want to replace the radio, you could buy one of these kits and transmit over the FM radio.

I'm partial to Pioneer stuff myself. (Really just because that's the first thing I had.) They make speakers specifically to fit the 5x7 factory holes. (Often also labeled 6x8.)

That said my truck has a Power Acoustik CP-71W just because it's the only single din Android Auto I could find. It works but the built in amp is adequate at best. If it were to do it again I think I'd have gotten a Pioneer with bluetooth and used one of those android auto rear view mirror things...

This one uses bluetooth instead of a cord, has some other features, and uses the cigar port for power.
