I was thinking the other day if we all made flyer about the forum and put them on other ranger or b2s stating : If you love your ranger or bronco2 like we do on our forum check it out at therangerstation.com join our community and tell us where your from when u found the flyer . wat do u all think ? :shok:

I actually thought about something similar for RVBs - instead of flyering - maybe make some business cards to hand out to someone with a handle and site address -

As long as people don't do the whole stupid put under the windshield wiper thing it would be cool...

What would be cool is if we could create a pdf that would let you fill in the blank. It could be a TRS card with a blank line for you to type in your name and then print it. It would be cool if printed it in a format to fit the blank business cards you can buy in the store and print your own. That way, the card would be consistent, no set up, all you have to do is type in your name and print.

I actually talk about TRS to my customers that have custom rangers if they're home.

So far out of 800 customers, only two have had cool Rangers.

It's not like this is just a community that we're trying to grow for bragging rights, I really do believe it's the best place to find information on these trucks. It's where I found and came back to when I was researching everything I wanted to know before buying one, and it's where I return every time I need to fix/improve something. Jim, you did a great job and you got even more lucky with the people that found it because it's really the members that make the community.

This is all coming from a guy who's giving up half his salary because his company isn't something he believes in. :icon_cheers:

Ya I kinda started the same way, a friend recommended i come here for information on my truck when I got it, and everyone I have talked to has been very helpful in anything I have asked

I have a template that I made up for JRack Cards. They are the ones you see in hotel lobbies, but these have a business card that can be torn off and kept. 3 cards per page of standard 8.5 X 11 paper. Does not have to be on the pre-perforated card stock I bought, but they work the same, just a bit bigger.
Would also work great on a parts store counter or something. I will have to look for a pic of it so load.

I would pass them out all the time. I'm sure the guys up at the bridgeport ohv park wouldn't mind passing them out either. If this picks up then ill talk with them.

Hey Jim, What about looking into the cost of this? Get them made up and let us know. I know the more you order the cheaper they can be and any of us that want some can order them in the store section say 100 for $$$. I talk this site up at least 50 times a week at work when any Ford truck ( even F-Series stuff) owner comes in and I can't answer their question or find the part they need.

So far I've only really gotten the chance to recommend TRS to one person. It was a guy with a 95 with 4x4 issues so I showed him the [tech library]. So far there is only on other person I think would be interested in the site around my town. He drives a black '07 FX4 with a custom front bumper. Every time we drive past each other he nods, waves or something of the like. I business cards or something would make that really easy if I ever see his truck parked around somewhere, or any of the few modified RBV's around.

I would put it on the back of a regular business card...since I've been thinking about getting some printed up...but not sure if TRS and my Escort Service (it's got a catchy slogan..."Who needs bed bugs when you can have ME") go together...

As long as there's room to print other things it would work for me...lol

business card would be great , theres alot of rangers in my town . how about a business card with one of our windshield decals?

i already do. handwritten letters on whatever i have in my rig

There are many a modified Ranger around here, one on one tons with a 460 and 46" Claws. And even he didn't know about TRS. It would definitely be a cool thing to have and hand out.
