Just curious what spark plug are people running in the stock 3.0? Is there something else recommended over the stock copper?

Motorcraft, I think. General consensus around here is that ford motors seem to be picky about plugs and you’re better off using OEM Motorcraft plugs.

That is what I am running now. Thanks

My experience applies to 2.9, but autolite, Motorcraft, or Bosch iridium four prong seem to do the best.

If your engine is stock, run stock temperature plugs.

The four prong Bosch ones seem to do well on earlier EEC-IV systems. They were definitely better than the autolites I replaced.

double tips in waste spark systems. the current flows in opposite directions depending on which side of the coil the plug is.

Autolite makes motorcraft plugs. They are identical except for the box. Just use double platinum or iridiums and your good to go. Never use copper or single platinum unless you enjoy changing plugs alot.
