sounds is draaagged out

well, uh, thanks.. but, my sound now sounds perfect? im sure i didnt touch anything besides take the pic and plug in the camera

well its still screwed, so my moms boyfriend works with computers and tvs, so ill get him to come over and fix it

I had that problem with windows on my netbook a while back... the whole computer was laggy including all the sounds being dragged out as out as you described. Never did figure out what it was...all virus checks came back clean and all drivers were updated. Finally just reinstalled windows and it fixed it.

I see two problems...one is that you have on-board sound already and it may be conflicting with your PCI card...the second problem is the same as the first...try removing the sound card, plugging your speakers into the on-board sound and see if it works any better...but you may need to remove the software for the PCI sound card before either of them works properly...

Ask your mom's bf if he can disable the on-board...and watch him so you will learn something about computers...they're very simple...usually...

Your computer doesn't have a cassette player by chance does it? :icon_twisted:

I agree with Mark_88's post, it's one of the few he has with good info. :D
