sound system??

hey guys I'm looking for a good system for my truck ( a head unit speakers and maybe a sub or amp) i have an 84 with the funky stock dash does anyone have any ideas?

all depends on what you wanna spend, id just get some cheap 3way speakers and a decent head unit and call it good, as much as i love my current system im never putting 1k in a stereo again:icon_twisted

what type of sub would be good for the confined space?

I got a 10" JL W3 Sub with all Pioneer speakers and pioneer headunit with a 500w Alpine Amp. I'll take a pic in a bit and post it up. The wiring kit for the sub and amp was only $30 from a local audio shop.

I have a pioneer head unit with a kicker comp 10" in a vortex box. 1000 Watt amp. Sounds great. Traded some stuff on Craigslist for it. Works for me

thanks guys, i want it to hit pretty hard but not be obnoxious, i think I'm going to go with one 10" or 12"
