like the title says.. after i was almost done building it... and to top that i blew my ranger motor up yesterday so i need another motor....

question is wut year explorer 5.0 will drop right into my ranger i have a 94 ext cab...

most 5.0L will work, but if your thinking of the explorer/mountaineer swap, the motor will work, harness/electronics will not...use a mustang harness 89-93

damn it man, that sucks big time. those motors arnt a dime a dozen. pretty hard to find.

You'd have to practically swap the whole interior harness on the explorer, or do a lot of repinning and comparing EVTM's from both vehicles...Easier to do the mustang harness
