so... do i have a duratec or not?

i was under my hood the other day and i noticed that i had no baffle on the intake. this truck has been in my family for its whole life and i know my grandmother never took it off. this struck me as odd because i read that duratecs do not have baffles on the intake tube. Are there any other visual things that seperate a duratec and a lima? heres a pic of my engine.

The Duratec engine didn't come out for many years after your truck.

That's definately a lima. Duratechs were not until 2001.5

Also the older 2.3's did not have intake baffles. My 1990 did not.

besides the fact its a sohc, just look at the timing cover. duratec is a dohc
