Snow Wheeling with the WNYMudders Guys 1-17-10

that tree cracked his windsheild and o boy was he pissed lol

i was really surprised it didnt crack mine , it whipped back hard when it got past the antenna , but o well , that is why i have full coverage

yes i was pissed but not that i broke my window driving at my own risk offroad. my anger was at the fact that damn near 10 trucks drove through it and not one word was said over the cb and on top of that no attempt was made to hold it back or move it out of the way as to not cause any damage to more trucks. that sam limb was responsable for shifting the glass in the trail duster (green thing with the winch) when it struck the winsheild. the other thing was the constant stopping on hills that resulted in not just my stuck but also caused many to spin out on ice based roads. as the pictures show a fat guy in the back of wny964x4's truck, well that fat guy was me jumping up and dow to help get traction for em.

i was wondering when those pics of our ascent of that nasty hill were gonna show up

just for everyones info , that hill was insanely steep and had a couple curves , and under all the snow you see it was a solid sheet of ice , it took Little Foot 3 tries ( he was the second one to try the wooden beast had no problem ) , i made it up in one but only because i got some speed going because of my placement in the pack , but we all hit it ( those who could ) in 4Lo , 2nd gear , pedal to the floor

i had little foot in 4high 2nd the first time lol thats y i came back down haha. the last time i was in 4lo and in 3rd gear

yea , i hit it 4lo and second and just kept my foot planted

Wasn't that wooden thing in a recent Petersen's 4 Wheel Magazine?

he said it has been featured in peterson's , i dont know when though

We had a similarly shitty hill during our last outing. The "park" we were at has a hill that is roughly a 100 foot climb and after over 200 passes during the weekend it was so icy it took LOTS of wheel spin to even complete. I nearly plowed a early 2000s dakota when I failed my hill climb and he was siding down the hill next to me. Nothing is worse than a ICE covered hill climb. No throttle or tires (short of chains or studs) can do it without LOTS of speed and wheel spin.
