GOOD pic............Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Put the BII through snow-trials today. I wasn't quite ready, she was. Performed wonderfully, not as nice a ride as the truck, but still better than I expected.

No pics though. I tried but all the camera batteries are dead. :(

As the day went on the snow got thicker but soon stopped and I'm glad too, driving this truck on the snow and ice covered roads with no 4wd to help with turning corners makes for a slower me nerve racking drive. Having a pregnant fiancée in the passenger seat doesn't help my nerves either. I'm off the roads unless i need to be driving.

We have 9" here and it's still snowing. Supposed to get another 4-5" :D

This was taken @ noon today. In the last week, we've had over 13" fall. It's still coming down.

took it out of the garage... after dark of course dont want people to know it actually moves under its own power. Decided to put it on the 40's and see how they were in the snow. overall impression is they are 40 inches of FAIL. tho i'm comparing them to the iroks with alot more tread and the Sx's last winter. here are the only pictures i stoped to take Since I was Forced to stop. front axle went over the top and couldnt go further tried to back up and she was dug in a little too deep in the hard pack plow bank. couple shovel fulls and she was free. played for a couple hours and never left my yard. neighbors must have been thrilled when i started the playing with full throttle around the yard. Even down to 3 psi they would not find traction

Was just looking at those on Facebook when i was notified you posted in this thread. Guess the term "bigger is better" doesn't always apply.

Personally, i think the 40s may be to much, but that's just me.

the 38.5 SX's dwarf these. ground hawgs sizes are very much on the small. i was running 38.5 hawgs on the back and 37 trxus an front all summer and the trxus were much taller.
they are sized at 40x17x15 and they are more like 38x16x15. but on the same not the iroks are closer to 35.5x13x15.

I do have to say the hard compound of the hawgs paired with 5.13's and a locker make for some AWSOME doughnuts on about anything from snow to pavement. lost the shovel out of the back of my truck twice before i decided to put it in the cab to allow more hooning
