snorkels???

I didn't get any pictures of the install but it is similar to everyone elses running behind the fender and into the airbox under the filter. The airbox is sealed off except to my snorkel's inlet. The total cost to me was $0.00 (I had a home depot gift card) but I believe it was maybe $30 worth of material with enough ABS left to make another on my buddies truck.

im going to make an extension for mine so i can add it if needed, what was the part on top called ??? also what did you use to mount it to the truck ???

this is my try at a snorkel, total cost was about $30, all from lowes!

Thanks! Currently (and for the past 2 years) it is held on with a strap I took off of a respirator mask and ran it behind the weather strip and is fastened to the back side "Oh S**t" handle between the pillar and the handle. It has worked great aside from the occasional drip of water when it downpours. I've been planning on fabbing up a bracket similar to the way it is now to stop any leaking at all. The piece on top is a vent cap for a flu pipe (also found in home depot).
