Here is my home built snorkel I made up today. Not finished as there is no scoop on top and not connected at the air cleaner assy but you get the idea. It's made from inter-cooler pipes from a Ford 6.0l diesel.

thats what i thought it was made from...

Uhm, ya....lol. Take a short drive to Sherwood Exhaust, on the southside of sherwood park freeway just east of hwy 14. The guys there do great work, an usually fairly cheap too. They should be able to make that whole piece with 1 chunk of tubing, and have it fit snug to your truck, following the door/body line etc.

Really ?? For free ?? Wow, 'cause thats what I have into this and thats the way it's going to stay.

Lol, probably close to it....They wanted $320 for a full ypipe back dual exhaust with magnaflows mufflers and tips etc, when all other shops quoted me at or above $500.

I purposely stayed away from ABS pipe because I think it would break way to easily. It does really cold around here. I have had tree branches swing back pretty hard. I do intend on replacing the blue hose with the correct sized aluminum pipe when I find it.

Thought those looked like 6 leaker pipes... hah.
