Look for an NP205 out of any early 70's F-series.

im running a np208 out of a bronco(has the fixed rear output), just had to cut to of the tabs off it and it fit, a bw1356 will work with frame mods
smaller transfer case for my 302

so the t case is smaller then the ones in the 80's trucks i got everything from an 88 standard

no..you gotta know the tcase model..np208 and bw1356 are pretty large and the np205 and dana20 are small and will fit no problems. I have a 208 in mine and i had to shave the frame rail slightly and grind off 2 tabs on the case itself.

I only gave 200 for my Dana 20 from the wrecking yard. Its small so it fit real nice.

I love the Dana 20. Be ready to spend some cash though. The cases are getting expensive and the items to bolt them to a transmission are scarse as well. They only bolt to EB specific 3 speed manual or C4's which are also EB specific units as well. Or opt for an advance adapter kit, still expensive. The 205 or the Dana 20 are the way to go if you are going to abuse it.

i just wanted to get a smaller t case so where could i get a 205 out of

78-79 fs broncos and f-150s around that year, just be careful some are divorced prior to 78

Where you located? I have a np-205 for sale in In. I would reckon shipping would be expensive.
