Thought you might be interested to see my small Sub install in my XLT Regular Cab.

Wanted to keep the standard audio for now and add a little bit of bass.

Sub takes high level input so I piggy backed off the rear speakers.

The wire you can see is for the cable remote.

BTW got the armrest out for repairs.

The sub is only a cheapie but is surprisingly good!

I wired the live direct to the battery and took a ground via a bolt drilled below the sill trim. The signal wire I took from the back of the radio din plug.

Hope this is helpful.

link to the amp? looks nice and clean... wondering about the output though... does it rattle anything? or just more provide a better fill in of the lower end of the sound spectrum?

No rattle at all, it adds some more bottom and middle.

It has reverse and normal along with frequency setting options.

As I say pretty good for the money.

Not a world beater but OK for now :-)

as long as you are happy with it...
looks like it probably went in with ease, and possibly was your first install?

good job, doing my first install here in a month or so.

First Install?

No I actually used to be in the motor trade before I went into IT.

It's my second install in the last ten years, put a head, amp, sub and replacement speakers in the wife's Suzuki last year :-)

A hobby these days...

I also have a 1966 Triumph that I have restored.
