sluggish when warm or humid

I would add that my Tempo ran perfectly...sometimes...it would go for miles and then suddenly just start getting sluggish and eventually die...

There is, apparently, a gasket on the pumps that can wonk out sporadically and cause the pump to fail...but when it shuts down (cools off) the gasket seals and the pump starts working again...

You may not even have an in-tank pump...I don't know when they stopped but they did...

If you've still got problems then maybe someone can confirm if the 97s had in-tank pumps...if not...well, I tried...
