Hey thought I post up this project for you guys to look at.
I started this with my little cousin Johnny who happens to be 6'2" But he always wanted to make a go-kart and he didnt know how...
I remember when I was young and I always tried to get my dad to do projects like this with me and he never would. Seeing as johnnys dad is a loser and in prison right now I figured why not.
So here it is I only thought to take pics after I had rebuilt and did a lincoln locker mod and mounted the 6 speed craftsmen mower tranny.
The frame we used is from a late 70s mower
Bucket seat from a jeep cherokee
welded steps on both sides
Used the steering rack from newer mower it actually articulates ...bonus!
painted it viper Blue expensive paint from a past project
Still have to put the motor on and rig up some kind of clutch...oh and maybe a seatbelt
