Well tomorrow morning, hopefully I'll be ready to replace my slave cylinder
on my 1991 ranger 4x4. From my book it sounds like it's bolted to the inside
of the bellhousing. Is that correct? Yeah like someone said the part is around
108.00 at advance auto. Is there anything else I need to know while doing this work on my truck? At least the motor was just out and it should'nt be that bad.... I hope!!!

There are 2 bolts inside the bell housing that holds the slave cylinder in. Remove those 2 bolts and it slides off the input shaft.

I would recommend replacing the clutch while you have it apart.

I paid a guy to replace the clutch and fix multiple gaskets and fix bolts in my exhaust already. The only problem is her didn 't bother to replace the slave cylinder.:dunno:

any time the you can get the slave cylinder off, replace it.
