Is there any difference in skyjacker lift brackets?
I always thought there was just one size of pivot brackets, and the differences in lift heights came in the the other components, coil springs and leafs/blocks, ect.

I know there is class 1 and class 2, which I also can't find a difference between...

Can someone shine some light on this?
Does a 6" or 8" lift come with longer pivot brackets, or is it all the same stuff?

Thanks.

the brackets on skyjacker are the same for 4" and 6" kits. theres 2 different holes in that bracket that you use the top for the 4 and bottom for the 6. and the 8" bracket is its own.

Their website no longer lists a 8" kit... Perhaps its out of production now?

its possible i guess but kinda doubt it. i couldnt find any older ranger info on their site when i ordered mine. i had to go through another site that sold skyjacker.

so maybe check another site such as 4wheelparts or truckaccessories and see if they list the 8" kit

but the way your steering and geometry and stuff works your best bet would be get 6" brackets and purchase some eb or jeep coils that give you between 6" and 8" of lift. unless you plan an aftermarket steering such as stonecrusher.

class I lift does not have extended radius arms Class II does
