SkyJacker coils are black now?

I just bought a new set of 6" SkyJacker coils for my Ranger online and they came in today. I opened the box expecting them to be red but they were black!

Is this the new color they are or do you need to specify? Thanks

I prefer to use my own colors, something that pops and says, "Hello, I was put here on pupose, you should ask about me." I have blue right now, but I am thinking about going with something a little crazier, maybe not, we will see what color I decide for the frame.

Ok, thanks guys. I just assumed they would always be red. It kind of seemed like a SkyJacker trademark color you know? Like Rancho shock boots.......hahaha

That's my thought exactly!

I wonder what made them switch color? Maybe it has to do with the red coming off? My old ones are actually coated with a red coating. Plastic I think?

Edit: I know why they switched colors! My Ranger is black so they made them black.....hahaha

Mine are a year and half old and black, I had my old F150 coils powdercoated red and had orange shock boots....that combo stood out.
