skid plates

im looking for a skid plate for a 1999 ranger what should i get and where does it bolt to

The optional skidplates came in pairs. One for the transfer case and one for the fuel tank. Should be able to find them in a junkyard someplace. The equipment varied by year but there are some years where the Off-Road Package included a front skidplate. Later FX4 Level II's had a front plate also.

the stock front one is really thin and not designed for off road use build one out of thicker metal
