Skid Plates

It don't give much of a view :/

Yes, I am looking for that front skid plate. That transfer case skid plate could be useful even without that transfer case.

Is this a front skid plate?

That could probably be made to fit for the transfer case. But the original post seemed to be asking about a front skid plate which would be completely different.
1998-2000 4x4 Rangers with the Off-Road Package had a front skidplate under the bumper. Not extremely common especially 20 years later but if you could find one in a junkyard or eBay it could probably be made to fit a 2003. 2001+ Off-Road (I had one) did not have a front skidplate. An FX4 Level II might have one but I don't remember for sure.

Maybe this explains why a search reveals nothing. I was typing in 2003

A quick search turned up these. May take some slight modifications to fit a 2wd truck. But it would be a good starting point.

OK, you got me off my @$$

Something like this:

It was as cheap for me to make 8 as it was 1; I need 2 for my Ranger, so 6 available.

They are heavy 1/4" A-50 steel (very similar to the '98-'11 Superlift Ranger skidplate which is no longer available) so they wouldn't be cheap to ship.

I'd like $100/ea to cover my cost.

Don

p.s. Did I mention powder coated; I have bolts/spacer for mounting to Superlift

My neighbor used to have a 1998 Off-Road and it had a front skidplate. I got a new 2002 Off-Road and it did not.

The photo on the left is the front part that bolts to the bumper?

Don, that's bolt on for a 98-11 4x4? If so any pictures of it installed.

Is that $100, delivery included?

Depending on the answers and what points it mounts to I may be interested in one.

Does anybody still use Greyhound to ship? I see it has a website

Do you still have one of these around that you're willing to sell? Will it fit with an OEM bumper? I have a 2000 4.0L 4x4
