Hey guys I'm a little new to the wheels and tires subforum so this is probably going to sound stupid. I'd like to get a set of simulated beadlock rims for my truck the stock ones just ain't doing it for me. I'd like to have them stick out a little I think that looks pretty good kinda agressive. But not so much as to look like a go cart:D. But I'm not really sure what is out there or what size rim I should get to get it to stick out. thanks

doesnt sound stupid.

but for your question, to get your tires to stick out you need more backspacing. thats as much as i know. idk what kind of backspace measurements your truck would need.

To hang the tires out farther, you need less backspacing. A generally 'good' rim for a ranger is a 15x8 with a 3.5"/3.75" backspacing. This will bring the tire out to or just past the fender, and allows you to run a 12.50 wide tire comfortably. A 17x9 works good as well if you feel like going bigger as the neutral BS (0 offset) helps to keep wheel bearings alive while still giving you the filled wheelwell look your after.

15x8 with a 3.5"/3.75" backspacing that sounds like a good one. I'd rather not go with a bigger rim I don't like the big rims. I like to see tires not rims on my truck:D does anyone know of any company that make simulated bead locks that fit on a ranger.

word of advice, if you get the ones like below the rockcrawler brand has little holes in the lip that lets water drain out and the procomps do not
