silverado zr2. what a joke

solid axles would be a valid reason to choose the pussy wagon over the raptor, if the raptor didnt have a shitton of travel.

i guarantee the ford ifs outperforms the dodge soild axle setup offroad.

personally i think ALL 2007 and newer trucks are ugly as sin ford, chevy, dodge, everything, but this pos takes the cake for sure, shit if i had the money id buy one of these ugly ass trucks and rap it around a the first pole i see and then happly drive away in my pos ford away:)

I saw the F-150 Raptor this past March at the Cleveland Auto show. It is really cool. Bigger in person too!

If I wanted to be able to drive around daily and hit fun stuff every weekend, I'd totally take the raptor and that's exactly what I'd want for me and for a few grand more than an FX4 how could I not if I wanted a new truck. If I had a big trailer to haul and still wanted a sweet fullsize offroader I'd without question take a Powerwagon especially if it really does have a cummins option now. That new chevy is more like a mall crawler. Prolly $$55-$60000 nice to look at but not that really amazingly capable. Something to look at if I liked Chevy's and preferred my truck always clean and a head turner in the parking lot but didn't expect much more than a lifted stocker in offroad capabilities. I'd rather spend my money on offroadability than on special paint, big wheels, and horsepower bragging rights. Besides it's not even production yet they just had to have something to hype to compete with Mopar's 2 true offroaders(Rubicon and Powerwagon) and now Ford's sweet new SVT whoop monster(Raptor if you didn't know:icon_surprised:) This says nothing of Toyota working on it's offroad program. Come on a 4runner Trail that 'yota tested out stock(just with the addition of 32" MT's)on the Rubicon(it dominated for a stocker) to see how it would hold up and make it better(it was in Four Wheeler magazine) that's pretty gnarly in my opinion. I can't think of any others but that mean's Chevy's the only member of the big four(yes I said it, Toyota's in the big guy hunt now, Hell nissan's not too far back) that doesn't have an awesome offroader. I'd be panicked as well:shok:) May be the ZR2 will be ok when they hit production but too bad I hate the new body syle chevy's. I think the raptor(all new F-series for that matter) is ulgy but at least it'll go. Oh but I am happy to see that the ZR2 package may be revived as a fullsize animal. I love the old S-10 and Blazer ZR2's they looked mean and did pretty well stock even if you couldn't hardly get a lift for 'em.

That's a long 2 cents but there it is.
