I HAVE JUST INSTALLED A SIX INCH SYSTEM ON MY RANGER, AND EVERYTIME AND ONLY WHEN I FIRST PULL OUT THE TRUCK SHAKES OR SHUTTERS(I CAN FEEL THE VIBRATION IN THE FLOOR) WHEN I DRIVE DOWN THE HIGHWAY OR GET ON IT NO SHAKE.. DOES THIS MEAN I NEED A NEW SHAFT, CARRIER BEARING OR THE U-JOINTS. WHAT S MY BEST OPTION??? THANKS AHEAD FOR THE HELP...:dntknw:

might be a vibration in your drive shaft due to the carrier bearing.... .. swap it out for a one piece shaft?

o ya CAPS! lol

Not To Sound Stupid, But Is That Possible With The Carrier Bearing Mounted On Top Of The Crossmember. Wont The One Piece Shaft Hit The Crossmember...

Yes, it might rub with a six inch lift. The best option is to move the cross member forward a few inches. The next would be to grind or cut the crossmember to allow the driveshaft room. But do not completely remove the cross memeber! Basically the only other way to get rid of the vibration is to swap in the solid driveshaft. or somehow mount the carrier bearing under the cross member to straighten the angles out.

yep, is ur rear driveshaft...they all do that, there are ways to mount the carrier bearing on the under side, but it will not eliminate all of the shimmy u are experiencing

Black Betty, Cannot Open The Driveshaft Swap Link...

NEVER MIND, I FIGURED IT OUT!!:idiot:
