Show us your 2019-2020 Ford Ranger

He's my 5th Gen. Picture of it freshly out of Discount Tire after installing Goodyear Ultra Terrain 32's (LT275/65R18). No rubbing with a 2 inch Daystar leveling kit.

We got our first 3 (of many) in tonight. All of them are pretty much stripped down XLs with 4wd as one of the few options. We' probably get a dozen or so this year, all identical.

Sorry it looks like I took the pic with a half baked potato... it's 1am, no lights in this part of the yard, and it's only a cell phone.

Here's a daytime pic, I even got an older one in there....

Here's our new 2019 Ranger. Magnetic XL / STX / FX4

We wanted as much of a "lo-tech" truck as we could find, but one that had a full complement of air bags. The Ranger XL met those requirements, but also allowed us to add the 4x4 / FX-4 package to make it meet the conditions we find here in the mountains of Colorado.

As a child of the 1960's I truly hate black wheels, running boards and LED lighting. Ford did a great job IMHO of making these trucks suit each owners needs and wants. Much better than Chevy & Toyota's big plastic fantastic transformer look.

Speaking of LED's... have you guys that have those priced replacements... Holy Schnikeys. The electronics are part of the replacement headlight / tail light. When I was a kid you could buy a complete car for what they now want for a pair of headlights.

So far we've found it be a great truck.

I've only had it for less than a week (paper tags) so I've got a long way to go on the mods. I've done a little bit of testing to make sure the KO2's aren't rubbing on flex.

Those KO2's are rock throwin' SOB's. Had them on my '02 Tacoma. Watch out for road rash.

Yeah. I ran them for many years on my Jeeps. I never, personally, had a lot of trouble with them chunking rocks but I've heard others talk about it. I just really like their offroad capabilities. I might have to add some flaps to catch rocks.

We have a new Ranger in the shop today (aftermarket parts are falling off... not a Ranger issue, but I'll update everyone as we have issues. We're up to 8 of them in the fleet now.)
The supercab back seat is 100% useless and looks like the most uncomfortable thing I've ever seen.

Extended cabs are for small children or for extra storage room.

And puppies!
