My wife's on line persona is "Medusa". I wanted to do something for her, but I do NOT put anyone's name but my own in ink LOL. The nipple, the sternum and the rib cage hurt like shit, the rest was just painful. 9 hours in 3 settings. Each time after about 3 hours of carving on me, I started showing signs of shock.

It seems like people have mixed reactions in their back. I've heard a lot of people say the back hurts like crazy and other people say the oposite. Personally I fell asleep when I got my shoulder blade done. I'll post a pic when I get home

I agree with that, i have tattoo on my spine and i have a set of three going up my ribs, i didnt think either one of them hurt, im getting ready to go get another one soon

I have several but no pics that I am aware of. I will see if I can snap a few. I have my entire back, left/right upper arm and both fore arms done. I have plans to add to my back as well.

just found this one, hasn't been posted to in forever, but what the hell... might as well go ahead and show mine...

my first tatt... got it back in 2001... right deltoid... didn't hurt at all...

my second one, from 2003, left deltoid... again, didn't hurt...

the third... got it in 2008... wraps all the way around my left forearm... hurt in certain spots, but overall, not too bad... took 2 sessions of about 4 hours each.

and last, but not least, my swallows, got them in 2009... a dedication to my kids, who due to a messy divorce and the fact that i'm in the military, don't get to see but once a year... these hurt like hell!
