should i sell the 79

if its as rare as you say it is up there, why seel it to someone whose prolly gonna strip it for parts and junk it, driving up the price of the few others left? If the pickups are as rare as the broncos, why take the chance of selling this one now and not being able to find one again later? Projects are projects and will take time and money. But if you want a daily driver that you know how to work on and have spent so much time on by rebuilding the 351M that most would consider a boat anchor, then dont sell it. Are you 100% certain that you can have your ranger done by the time you can have your first license? The project will most likely take more than the 700 anyhow. Keep the bronco, put some love into it, and have something no one else seems to have. With most people in the world abusing these old iron beasts and striping them for parts, they are gettting more and more rare all the time, PLEASE do NOT contribute to the trend.

yea they are very rare here the only other 79 ford i ever seen is a f150 and thats 2 hours away and shes no scrapped and crushed. i asked that guy and the previous owner of mine and misc other guys here who work at different garages and there was only 2 more besides mine, one of them are scrapped and i have the axles from her in my garage. so a find like this is rare. pickups on the other hand, theres a couple more of them kicking around, theres a 75 a hour away that i was looking at buying a couple weeks ago and theres a 76 in my town for sale for $4500 with a 300 I6 and 4spd 2wd flatbed. thats the only other known trucks around but the broncos, nobody knows of any more besides the other one i mentioned. i really think ill keep her and your right the projects do take time and money. i really think i can make something of this that nobody else will have or anything close to it.
thanks alot guys. im gonna keep her

I've never said this before, but I wish I was still up in Maine. I'd buy it off of you for 700.
