I want my b2 to look as factory as possible. I want a d44 but about 61 stud to stud. Are there any shorter models of the 44? How wide are the early bronco ones? How wide are the 80s jeep wagonners?
EB axles are around 58.5"s wms/wms. Wagoneers are closer to 60.5"s. I'd go with the wagoneer. Bigger joints, a little wider, and newer, along with already having disk brakes.
The EB D44 doesnt already have disk brakes?
Also, what years do I look for a D44 on the wagoneer and the Bronco. Just so I can know specifics when Im looking.
Only 76-77 EB's had disks. You'll want the D44 from a 71-77 EB, as the 66-70's had kingpin D30's. I'll have to check for ya on the waggy diff's to make sure of the year.
