Short to long bed

I was wondering if a long bed bolts right in place of a short bed? or are the wheelbases different and it's not possible. I have a regular cab 94 with the short bed.

The wheelbase is different, you'd be further ahead selling yours and buying a long bed.

I was just wondering cause I am renovating my house and could use the extra inches in the bed. I'll never seel this Ranger they are gonna have to bury it with me. It's well worth what I paid for it and just keeps runnin

Im trying to figure out how many plots im going to have to buy at the cemetery to fit me and my ranger.

My family has their own cemetery so I figure however many I need shouldn't be that difficult.
I looked into a bed extender for the price I thought if the beds bolted right up I could be that price at pull a part. Oh well looks like a bed extender is what I have to get.
