Well its spring and its time to tinker with my truck Time for brakes all around, and when I had the new tires put on (33x1250 goodyear wrangler duratracs) they said the tie-rod ends had enough slop so they couldn't get the alighnment just right. The lower ball joints were starting to go but not really enough to notice. So its time for new ball joints tie rod ends and while I'm at it new shocks.

My question is what shocks should I go with and brand on the ball joints. I have a good connection at the dealership for their parts. I am guessing Moog or Motorcraft for the joints, as for shocks I dunno. Because of the 33s I am thinking that I should cough up the dough for Bilstens or some rs5000s but I wanted to get everyones opinion.

Quick stats: 4x4 3" body lift, auto reg cab 4.0l no t-bar crank(thinking about 1" or so latter on)

I was gonna say moog or motorcraft.

If you want to crank the t-bars at all I do it now though, before you pay to get it aligned because the t-bar crank will mess up that alignment again.

MOOG parts and Bilstein shocks. Can't go wrong there...

I feel the same way everyone else here does (although I usually use Raybestos joints...cuz Rock Auto sells them for really really cheap :secret:)

Shocks - there is nothing better than Bilstein shocks for the money IMO.
