Shift rail plug size for M50D?

I just bought an M50D transmission for my Ranger and was thinking of installing freeze plugs where the rubber seals are. I looked in the tech library but it does'nt say what size to use. Are freeze plugs all one standard size? Thanks.

They appear to be rather small you know? Would you be able to tell me where I could buy them at?

Will AutoZone, PepBoys, Kragen, CarQuest, carry these? It's something I'd like to do before installing the tranny. Thanks again.

Nevermind, Thank you sooooooo much for the information. I found them for like 5 bucks on the Kragen webpage.

I guess that's not too bad for a permanent fix from leaking in that area.
