Sgt Ex

not when we dont have any money. lol. I still have to get the cage done, the steering fixed, install the vintage air into Nasty, and start the swap for D.

Well, Mike Dodrill who works for James Duff, does a little airbrush work on his own. He is an Army vet, and when he heard about the rig, he said he wanted on board. He met me up in Lexington, and he took my back door back down to Vol country, which i won't hold that against him, and he began working...

here it is with the emblems taped up, ready for some masking paper.

Then he laid out the masking and cut it all out

Just to show the detail, here is a shot of the fallen soldier grave

Then he painted everything....

I love it. He is doing both sides of the rig as well at the beginning of the year.

that is awesome!

that is just plain COOL:icon_thumby::icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

Thanks buddy! I can't wait to actually get it out and have some more fun with it. Funds are looking better, so in the near future i am hoping to get it ready again.

I did get the hatch on and shot some paint over the Smokey Ridge Racing Stripes.

In the backgound you can see my next project.... The ol lady's TJ. It has changed a little since then, but nothing much. It's just a 4 banger, lowest model available. It's ok though, she likes it.

The back door is just amazing! I wish I had a friend that could do that.

Thanks buddy! Yea, Mike is going to do the sides of the truck too next year. I still need to get some of the bugs worked out. Here is the list of what i need to fix ASAP....

* Super slow steering (this is due to running hydroboost and hydro ram on stock pump)
* Broken Fog lights (already have the bulbs, just need to install them)
* busted relay for cooling fans (found one, just need to buy it)
* CB speaker not working. (I am lost here. I have chased the wires, and everything looks good. My antenna is frickin huge, so that isn't a problem. It worked fine at first, now i can't hear anyone, but people can hear me.)
* Reset drag link position and install spacers on the front
* Replace tail light and register it in KY

As you can see, its a lot of little stuff. I had to drive the rig yesterday and today because someone (the ol lady) decided to leave D's window down sunday night and now the seat is drenched.

Well, this weekend i was over at my pop's place after the amazing UK game and my little brother and his friend asked me if the Sarge has ever crushed a car. I told them, "Not yet..."

You know that whole Redneck thing about "Hey Ya'll Watch This!" thing.... Well, I officially joined the club...

I began running over an old van we had out back...

Then decided to see just how high i could get on the van... And did this...

Only damage was a shit ton of powersteering fluid was lost, and i broke the side back window and the passenger mirror. Guess i need to add those to the "Need to Fix" list...

Oh well. At least i know what it feels like to flop one now. lol

well you got the flop over with... its easy ridin' now! lol

That's one way to check the undercarriage...lol

diggin this. saw your avatar on another page so i had to search this one out

wow, sorry guys for not posting in forever..... I have just been really focusing on other things, so both D and Sgt Ex are sitting around. Of course, i am sure most of you seen that D is now riding on a set of 20's and 32s, which i thoroughly enjoy due to the amazing gas mileage i get now compared to before. 37s- 11-13 MPG. 20's- 16-18 MPG

As far as the Sarge goes, I need to drain and replace all the fluids, but it looks like we are trying to meet Railman and crew at LBL next weekend. I have a sheet of Lexan that will be going in the side instead of the glass. Still trying to work with PSC for a new power steering pump, DIYBeadlocks.com for custom rock rings, and TWF for another H1 rim for my spare. Nothing on any of those :annoyed:

And playing in the woods a little
